A convenor in training last week brought up a challenge he’s faced when a member joins in the last 15 minutes and wants to talk for the entire rest of the time. I’d love to hear folks’ ideas on that challenge!
I would probably do a private chat with that person and let them know that while I appreciate their contributing to the cross talk, there simply isn’t enough time to have comments after every share. If they then point out that I, as a convener, do comment after every share, I would encourage them to think about becoming a convener after six months and that all conveners are different!
How do I manage someone who wants to crosstalk after every share?
